While the image isn’t exactly what I was looking for because this isn’t a USO, it shows two things. One that free images for such subjects are extremely limited, and two that the U.S. government has known more and for longer than they have let on.

In 1970, biologist Ivan Sanderson published a book entitled Invisible Residents. Sanderson devoted the book to sightings of what were later called Unidentified Submerged Objects. A USO is defined as an unknown craft that is sighted in the water, sighted rising out of the water, or diving into the water. Sanderson cataloged scores of reports of USOs. (1)

I grew up hearing about UFOS. USOs are something that are still fairly new to me. But I find them as fascinating as their UFO brethren. Think about it. As earthlings, we’re so sick of one another that we’re buying up RVs like there is no tomorrow so we can collectively hit the open road.

All in an effort to get away from one another.

We hunt for Big Foot, Nessie, and ET and can’t nail down their locations for decades. No shocker there. If we can’t stand being around one another, then what makes you think they can stand being around us either?

Of course, they’re going to take to the skies and land in deserts or have an underwater parking garage to avoid us like the plague. If I wasn’t afraid of heights or could hold my breath underwater, hell, I’d join them.

Under the waters of Lake Baikal in 1982, 7 Russian divers are exploring the world's deepest freshwater lake on a research mission, but 55 yards underwater, strange humanoid creatures appear, and to capture one of them, all the divers are pushed up to the top by an unknown force. Who were these creatures and what can we learn from this encounter?

Yes, even the Soviet Union has a little something to say about USOs. See? We Americans don’t own the UFO/USO market. The above is a *paraphrased description for the following YouTube video.

Frankly, my money is on Ocean X to prove or disprove that there is alien life under the waves. Because for now there just isn’t enough information to go around about this latest discovery. At least not that I’ve been able to uncover.

As of yet…
