Welcome to what used to be my world. I was a fulltime editor there from Jan to Aug last year. I was removed from Illum (but kept on the other pubs) because DYM would allow certain things slide with certain writers while others (editors included) were held to a different standard.

A lot of the really good, senior editors that were there are now gone. The only ones that are left are those who either still don't realize that they are in a cult or they know it and don't care.

You're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution. If you stay knowing how awful the place is then you're (silently) condoning the behavior. And so it continues.

Have you seen Marcus' About page? If you've been reincarnated over 17k times, clearly you just are not learning your lessons! And yes, I believe in reincarnation but that's a conversation for another day.

I'm sorry this happened to you but it could have been predicted. But now that you know you can make informed choices. ;-)
