Myalgic encephalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS)
I can’t keep my eyes open. I hurt all over. I had to Google it. You’d think after these years it would have been an automatic, aaaaaaaah, okay. Nope. I have so much brain fog right now that I had to Google something I’ve had for 15-years now to figure what is wrong with me today.
Symptoms of chronic fatigue syndrome can vary from person to person, and the severity of symptoms can fluctuate from day to day. Signs and symptoms may include:
- Fatigue
- Problems with memory or concentration
- Sore throat
- Headaches
- Enlarged lymph nodes in your neck or armpits
- Unexplained muscle or joint pain
- Dizziness that worsens with moving from lying down or sitting to standing
- Unrefreshing sleep
- Extreme exhaustion after physical or mental exercise
- Muscle pain and aches
- Joint pain without swelling or redness
- Headaches, either new or worsening
- Digestive issues, like irritable bowel syndrome
- Chills and night sweats
