What I do here on Medium doesn't fit the notion that I have of content creation. To me, that's working for a company that hands you an assignment, word count, and deadline and then you write the piece and submit it. Then on it goes. They sell to advertisers and websites to name two.

Here we are for the most part free to write whatever we want (within guidelines) and have no deadline. We also aren't guaranteed any type of a payout. If you're working for a content creation compnay you know how much you're going to make before you ever start the piece.
