What’s Still Passing as Healthcare in This Area

“It could be an esophagus issue. Or it could be part of my spine is pinching a nerve. Or it could be a vein issue (which wasn’t brought up until I did). Or it could be I forget what the other pull it out the ass issue it could be.”

That’s the text I sent to Debi after my Friday appointment. It pissed me off enough that I just did not feel like talking about it. I am so sick and tired of the collective stupidity that is “healthcare” in this area. There is nothing in what the PA or MA whatever the fk her title is, said that made sense. She called my back and chest pain “spasms”. I never used the word. Constant, deep, muscular pain in the back and crushing pain in the chest can never be confused with one another let alone a spasm.

Don’t ask me WTF GERD or a spine misalignment would have anything to do with any of my symptoms. I’d have a lot more respect if they’d just ball up and admit that they don’t know what’s wrong and send me on my way.

My symptoms started a bit ago with the feet and ankles swelling. Then it was back pain in between the shoulder blades which can indicate in women a heart attack. Then it was the chest pains on Tuesday.

I went to UC (Urgent Care) first because I didn’t know what the issue was but…
