Where I live there is a several months to a few years waitlist for an apartment. You'd think I was in DC or NYC but no. I live 20 mins from a resort area. So here I bide my time until one pops open. There is one in particular that I am interested in that I call once or twice a month just to remind them that I'm still interested as that seems to help.
