Check out that curation information. I’ve never seen that before, have you? It either states “Chosen for Further Distribution” or it’s blank. This was published September 1. I decided to check all of my published stories from September. Here’s what I discovered.
So far I’ve found 20 of those in Septmeber alone. They have not even been looked at.
Then there’s this gem. This was a comment I made to a comment someone else made on one of my pieces. It wasn’t even supposed to be published. It got claps so I’m leaving it alone. I had two others that had the same message on it so I checked. I hadn’t checked the little meter box when I submitted them. So I went in and checked the boxes and sure enough — they are now sitting in Pending.
These are my favorite. Pending curation for nearly 2 weeks. I’m sorry but WHAT? This is from early on in September. I’m afraid to look at August. I have 38 published articles with a pending status ranging from 13.2 days ago to 0 for the one that just got published.

Lemme see if I can go that long without paying my five bucks a month and see how far that will get me. That’s why I’ve never been one to check stats and I’ve never chased curation. For what purpose? I’ve gone viral and been interviewed by the Washington Post without chasing anyone or anything.
