Wow. Where to start.

Once I hit 50 it was nearly impossible to remain gainfully employed. I was a 1099 contract employee in essence. No work, no pay.

Now at 57 I'm hearing everything from the well worn, "Well at your age...." to "You are at that age now...". I'm 57 not 157!

Don't even get me started on the kiddies' response to the COVID outbreak. "Let the Boomers die!" was heard and seen more than once. These are the same generations that want to save the planet as well as people from around the world, just so long as those being saved are in a certain age bracket.

Give me a freakin' break.

And of course my all time favorite, "OK Boomer" when they don't agree with someone older than they are. I'm on the Boomer/Gen X cusp having been born in '63. I can create accounts and use a variety of social media. I have built my own website before. I'm published (ebooks and newspapers). I've marched on Washington, twice. Yet I get dismissed with an unearned, "OK Boomer".

Ah Karma how I wish I'd still be here when you bite these kids in the arse.
