Years ago I was a 'couch surfer' in the DC area. It didn't stop me from standing outside in all kinds of weather handing out donated food to people standing in the line with shopping bags. I did it in the rain. I did it in the snow. The time being unemployed myself. EVERYONE has SOMETHING that they can give. Even if it's "only" their time.
